Hey everyone, Kenny here with the breakdown of our latest web release.
While the mobile team has been squashing bugs, we’ve been hard at work on the Web Dashboard to ensure your first steps in Daysync are smooth and your logistics are rock solid. This update is all about accuracy and first impressions—making sure your schedule looks exactly the way it should.
Here is what’s new on Web:
🎉 Start Like a Pro
We believe anyone can be a tour manager, so we’ve overhauled the setup experience.
- Smoother Onboarding: We updated the UI and flow for new users to better handle first-time logins.
- Instant Demo Tours: Seeing is believing. If you're creating a new organisation—whether for Music, Sport, or Corporate—you can now generate a demo tour instantly. It’s the best way to explore the platform without manual data entry.
- Invites Reimagined: The "Invite User" modal has a fresh UI, making it clearer and faster to get your crew onboarded.
⏰ Timezone Truths
Touring means moving, and moving means messing with timezones. We’ve done some heavy lifting to ensure your calendar tells the truth (for real this time, we swear this won't happen again... 🫱🏼🫲🏽).
- The "NY to LA" Drive Fix: Previously, booking a trip across timezones could force the end time to match the start location’s clock. Now, the calendar correctly displays the local end time at your destination.
- Adelaide & Half-Hour Offsets: We’ve polished the experience for regions with unique offsets (like ACDT). This includes accurate display for cross-day events and fixing the "+1 day" label so it appears exactly when it should—especially for those 2 AM arrivals.
🫱🏼🫲🏽 Clean Slates
- Fresh Logins: Fixed a bug where data from a previous session could "ghost" into a new account. Now, switching accounts gives you a completely clean slate every time, ensuring you only see the info meant for you.
As always, keep the feedback coming! You can join the conversation over on our Discord: https://discord.gg/qVcHt97B
Until next time,
Kenny
