Mobile v1.1.2 – Release Notes


This update brings our reimagined chat to mobile — with voice messages, reactions, threads and more — alongside smarter location search, colour-coded schedule items, and the natural swipe-back gesture you'd expect on your phone.

What's New

💬 A Bigger, Better Chat

Chat has had a major upgrade on mobile. Record and send voice messages, react to messages with emoji, reply in threads, and @mention people, venues, schedule items and more. You can also play videos right inside the chat and search through the files and attachments shared in a conversation.

Adding a location is now quicker and more relevant. Daysync suggests places based on the type of item you're adding and where your day is taking place, keeps your recent locations within easy reach, and can even suggest a city for a day based on its schedule.

🎨 Colour-Coded Schedule Items

Your schedule items now follow the colours you've set for your day types, making your day far easier to read and scan at a glance on a smaller screen.


👈 Swipe Back to Go Back

Swiping in from the left edge now takes you back to the previous screen, just like other apps on your phone — a more natural, one-handed way to move around Daysync. You can still open the tour and organisation switcher from your Home screen.

Improvements

  • Easier activity feed — We've reworked the activity feed so your notifications are easier to scan, find and act on.
  • Connect Daysync with other tools — Other services your team uses can now connect securely to Daysync, including managing guest lists, opening the door to deeper integrations.
  • Safer chat for everyone — We've strengthened the protections that keep messages, photos, videos and audio shared in chat safe and appropriate.
  • Venue details offline — Venue information now shows even when you're offline, so the details you need are always there.

Bug Fixes

Chat

  • You'll no longer receive notifications for your own actions.

Notifications & Live Updates

  • Live updates and alerts — including room assignments — now arrive reliably and on time.

General

  • Resolved a range of smaller issues found during testing to improve day-to-day stability.
