Pre-tour planning exports

Daysync is strong once a tour is confirmed (decisions already made). But most of the hard work happens before that, and it happens in spreadsheets.

Before anything can be booked we have to work out who needs to be where on which day, and therefore which flights and hotel nights each person needs. That's what goes to the travel agent. We build it by hand every tour, and it starts drifting from reality the moment the tour begins.

If we could build the movement plan in Daysync first (party members, sub-groups, who's required at each event, arrival and departure needs) it could generate the travel agent brief, and bookings could then be attached back onto that same structure as they're confirmed.

  • Per-person requirement list: "needs to be in Berlin by 3 Aug, out 6 Aug"
  • Export that as a flight and accommodation brief
  • Hotel nights per person derived from the plan, not typed twice
  • Confirmation numbers attached to the person and the leg once booked

This would mean planning and delivery live in one place instead of a spreadsheet that gets abandoned on day one. It's also the phase no touring tool currently owns.

Depends on treating per-person records (separate request).
