This release is all about polish and performance. Daysync now feels noticeably snappier — pages load faster, schedules render cleaner, and a long list of small annoyances across stays, schedules, permissions, and the calendar has been smoothed out.

What's New

🛡️ Deactivated Member Role

Tour members who step away from a tour can now be moved to a Deactivated state automatically. Their history is preserved, and you keep clean control of who has active access at any time.

📅 Schedule Opens to Today

When you open the schedule, it now lands on today's date by default — so you're always one tap away from what's happening right now, no scrolling required.

🤖 Smarter AI Document Imports

We've polished the experience for importing tour documents with AI. The workflow is clearer, the feedback is better, and bringing days, drives, stays, and schedule items in from your existing paperwork is more reliable than ever.

Improvements

  • Faster, smoother across the board — Tour, schedule, stays, guest list, notifications, and subscription pages all load dramatically faster, especially on long tours and large guest lists.
  • App remembers where you left off — Your active tour, organisation, and recent state stay in place between sessions, so reopening Daysync feels instant.
  • Cleaner notes and overview editing — Notes on stays and venues no longer reset your cursor or overwrite what you're typing while auto-saving.
  • Map and location experiences — The map feels lighter and more responsive, and address fields fetch suggestions noticeably quicker.
  • Updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Use — Both now point to the latest versions on help.daysync.com.
  • Phone number entry — The country code picker now only shows regions we can deliver SMS to, so you won't accidentally pick one that won't reach your team.
  • Duplicate invite warning — Inviting the same email twice now shows a clear inline message in the form instead of a fleeting toast.

Bug Fixes

Schedule & Calendar

  • Calendar events without an end time now stack neatly instead of overlapping each other.
  • Edit Day now shows the correct date for tours in US time zones.
  • Schedule dates no longer appear one day behind for US tour members.
  • Drive items keep their expected duration after editing.
  • The time picker stays in place when you scroll the form.
  • Backspacing through a time entry no longer causes the field to crash.
  • "Rehearal Day" is now correctly spelled "Rehearsal Day".
  • The Edit Day location field clears suggestions properly when you remove a value.

Stays & Accommodations

  • Undoing an accommodation deletion now correctly restores it.
  • Switching organisations no longer occasionally lands you on an empty tour.
  • Stay visibility set to "Admin Only" now sticks after saving.
  • Room check-in and check-out times display correctly when both are on the same day.
  • Stay start times are now correct for tours in US time zones.
  • Archived tours can be unarchived again from the archive screen.
  • Success toasts on stay and venue updates only appear when the change actually saves.
  • Switching the stay during room creation no longer breaks the check-in / check-out time picker.

Members & Permissions

  • Edit Members can now navigate the full Settings area.
  • Edit Members no longer see Invite or Manage Tour Access controls they shouldn't have.
  • Inviting people through the Manage Tour page correctly adds them to both the organisation and the tour.

Sign-in & Invites

  • Accept Invite no longer leaves you stuck on a page where you can't accept or reject.
  • New users skipping an invite code are no longer dropped straight into organisation creation when logging back in.
  • The Visibility List now shows the correct details on demo tours.
  • Demo tours now correctly block edits across the board.
  • You can no longer remove yourself from the people settings and lose access to your own organisation.
  • The duplicate-tour-name warning now fires within a single organisation.

Guest List

  • The cutoff time on the guest list header now displays in the correct time zone.
  • New pass-type columns now correctly populate for existing guests.
  • The guest list cutoff time picker now matches the styling of the date picker next to it.

Other

  • Screen flash and flicker during create-organisation and login redirects are gone.
  • Dropdown menus and popovers now close when you click outside them.
  • The dropdown select on key forms is responsive again.
  • The forgot password flow now confirms once the email has been sent.
